Sr Associate - Salesforce QA Engineer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr Associate – Salesforce QA Engineer in India.

This role focuses on ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of Salesforce-based applications and integrations across enterprise environments. You will play a key role in validating complex Salesforce solutions spanning multiple clouds, custom applications, and integrated systems. The position requires strong expertise in both manual and automated testing, with a focus on delivering reliable, production-ready releases. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile environment to ensure early defect detection and continuous quality improvement. The role also involves designing test strategies, building automation coverage, and ensuring data integrity across systems. This is a hands-on QA position ideal for someone passionate about quality engineering in large-scale Salesforce ecosystems.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive QA strategies to ensure Salesforce applications meet functional, integration, and performance standards across complex enterprise implementations.

  • Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Salesforce applications including Sales, Service, Experience, Revenue Cloud, and custom solutions
  • Define test environments and test data requirements in collaboration with development and DevOps teams
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing across Salesforce implementations
  • Design, automate, and execute regression test suites to ensure maximum test coverage and release quality
  • Validate data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across Salesforce objects and integrated systems
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and identify defects early in the lifecycle
  • Conduct sanity and smoke testing to ensure production readiness of releases
  • Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira, ensuring timely resolution and reporting
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices
Requirements

This role requires strong Salesforce testing expertise, automation experience, and the ability to ensure high-quality delivery across complex enterprise systems and integrations.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce functional and automation testing
  • Strong experience in creating test plans, test cases, and QA documentation
  • Good understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and platform customizations
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, or similar frameworks
  • Experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) and validating system integrations
  • Knowledge of performance and load testing methodologies
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices
  • Hands-on experience using Jira or similar defect tracking tools
  • Experience working in client-facing or stakeholder-heavy environments
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
  • Nice to have: Salesforce Admin or Advanced Admin certification
  • Nice to have: experience with TestNG or similar automation frameworks
