SUMMARY: At Bluejack Ranch, we strive to create exceptional lifestyle experiences for our members, guests and their family and we are excited to be growing our leadership team with the addition of a 1st Assistant Golf Professional who will help curate the grand opening of our Tiger Woods design golf course.

The role – as 1st Assistant Golf Professional will be to oversee and maintain all aspects of the golf operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Oversee and maintain the following areas and associated staff members: practice area, 1st tee operation, golf course operation, comfort stations, The Ringer, retail, lessons, club fitting, caddie program, golf car fleet management, outside staffing operation, valet, club repair and Performance Center.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. · PGA Member in good standing

· Bachelor’s degree

· Minimum 3 years in golf operations

· Successful Golf Lesson Instruction and Golf Club Fitting experience

· Attention to detail and ability to follow cultivation schedules

· Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

· Can do attitude with willingness to perform at a high level of service

· Excellent oral and written communications skills.

· Possession of a valid driver’s license

· Good organizational skills with the ability to work independently and with a team.

· Computer literate, possessing skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook

· Ability to function under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.

· High work ethic, with sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team.

· Must be able to stay organized and work independently.

· Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions

· Must be able to work a varied schedule that includes early mornings, weekends and holidays and occasional evening functions.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, the entire shift. Additional to the job's physical nature, the role is mainly performed outdoors in all weather conditions including excessive heat, rain, wind and frost. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

· This is a full-time exempt (FLSA classification) job that will include weekends, weekdays, and Holidays. Schedule is flexible as business dictates.


The pay range for this role is:
83,000 - 83,000 USD per year(Aledo Ranch Club)
