Dining Services Associate in Dickson, Tennessee at Freeman

Position Title: Dining Services Associate

Job Purpose: Oversee dining services, including three meals a day, seven days a week, for a residential treatment facility with 40 patients.

Reports to: Recovery Specialist & Inpatient Tech Lead Staff

Level of Supervision Required: General

Responsibilities:

• Prepare weekly menus for a 40-bed residential treatment facility

• Manage inventory and weekly food and beverage orders for facility

• Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh

• Oversee the prep and cooking of three meals a day, with help of facility staff and kitchen volunteers

• Present, garnish and arrange final dishes

• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes

• Handle and store ingredients and food

• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

Education and Experience required/degree, and/or certification required (if applicable):

• Knowledge in Mental and Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse Field

• Excellent skills in listening and verbal communication

• Highest degree of professionalism, healthy boundaries, and positive self-care
