Surgical Services Intern

JOB SUMMARY |
- The Surgical Services Intern will assist with departmental projects focused on marketing Surgical Services and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance physician engagement. Provide administrative and organizational support for physician engagement activities, marketing initiatives, and other service line development projects as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS |
- Minimum Education
- Some College – associates or bachelors level program
- Work Experience
- N/A
- Licenses/Certifications
- Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Compose letters/memoranda
- Coordinate meetings
- Input data into computer program
- Maintain work area according to OSHA and NIOSH standards
- Schedule appointments
- Deals effectively with hospital personnel
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills
- Maintains professional appearance and decorum at all times
- Requires ability to handle confidential information
- Requires extreme diplomacy and tact
- Research information
- Use computerized spreadsheets to conduct analysis
