This role offers the opportunity to lead customer onboarding experiences for a growing software platform that helps organizations modernize vehicle reimbursement programs.
You will own the full implementation journey, from initial discovery and configuration through training, launch, and post-launch validation.
The position combines project management, technical problem-solving, customer communication, and platform expertise to ensure successful adoption.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to deliver seamless customer experiences.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys managing complex projects, improving processes, and creating scalable implementation solutions.

As an Implementation Specialist, you will manage end-to-end customer implementations, ensuring each client is successfully onboarded and prepared for long-term success. You will act as the connection point between customers and internal teams, translating business needs into effective platform configurations and driving smooth project execution.
- Own customer implementation projects from sales handoff through go-live and initial post-launch validation.
- Lead kickoff meetings, define project timelines, align responsibilities, and establish launch requirements.
- Gather customer workflows, business requirements, operational processes, and configuration needs.
- Configure customer programs, workflows, permissions, rules, and platform settings.
- Validate customer data, perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure implementation readiness.
- Deliver onboarding sessions and training for administrators, operational teams, and end users.
- Manage project milestones, dependencies, risks, customer action items, and communication throughout implementation.
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, Product, Engineering, and internal systems teams to support successful launches.
- Complete structured handoffs to post-launch customer teams.
- Identify implementation risks early and provide solutions to maintain project timelines.
- Share customer feedback and recurring challenges to support product improvements.
- Contribute to documentation, implementation playbooks, training resources, and scalable onboarding processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and AI-enabled workflows.
The ideal candidate is an experienced customer-facing technology professional with a strong background in SaaS implementations, project ownership, and translating business requirements into technical solutions. You should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS implementation, customer onboarding, professional services, solutions delivery, or a related customer-facing role.
- Proven experience independently managing implementations from project kickoff through successful go-live.
- Strong ability to manage complex requirements, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Experience translating business processes and operational needs into system configurations.
- Comfortable learning and supporting configurable software platforms.
- Strong communication skills with experience leading customer meetings, training sessions, and executive-level conversations.
- Excellent organization, documentation, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and technical teams.
- High adaptability and willingness to learn as products, processes, and customer needs evolve.
- Experience using CRM or customer success platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Gainsight, or similar tools.
- Experience with customer enablement, training, or change management is a plus.
- Familiarity with reimbursement, compliance, payroll, HR, finance, or operational workflows is considered an advantage.
- Experience building implementation processes, playbooks, or scalable onboarding frameworks is a plus.
- Competitive annual compensation of approximately $85,000–$100,000 CAD, depending on experience, skills, and performance.
