Job Description

Senior Talent Partner

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Talent Partner based in Canada.

The Senior Talent Partner will play a strategic role in building high-performing teams by leading complex recruitment initiatives and partnering closely with leadership.
This position focuses on identifying exceptional talent for senior creative, project management, and strategic roles within a fast-growing remote environment.
You will own critical hiring processes from sourcing through offer negotiations while acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers.
The role combines hands-on recruiting expertise, talent strategy, and mentorship responsibilities to help scale a modern recruitment function.
You will influence hiring decisions, improve talent processes, and define what great looks like across key roles.
This is an opportunity for an experienced recruiter who thrives in ambiguity, values quality over volume, and enjoys shaping the future of talent operations.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Talent Partner will lead end-to-end recruitment strategies for complex and high-impact roles while acting as a strategic partner to leadership and hiring teams. This role requires strong judgment, ownership, and the ability to balance execution with long-term talent initiatives.

  • Manage multiple open roles simultaneously, including senior and strategic hires across creative, project management, and user-generated content functions.
  • Own full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviews, candidate evaluation, stakeholder alignment, and offer management.
  • Build strong relationships with senior hiring managers and leadership teams, acting as a trusted talent advisor throughout the hiring process.
  • Lead offer discussions independently, including negotiations for senior individual contributor and team lead positions.
  • Provide guidance on candidate seniority, leveling decisions, and overall fit based on business needs and role expectations.
  • Develop and improve recruiting processes, frameworks, and playbooks to support company growth.
  • Mentor junior recruiters by sharing best practices, providing coaching, and supporting their professional development.
  • Help establish consistent hiring standards and promote a strong candidate experience.
  • Partner on talent operations initiatives, improving efficiency and scalability across recruitment workflows.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced recruiter with strong business judgment, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building exceptional teams. They should be comfortable operating independently, influencing senior stakeholders, and navigating complex hiring decisions.

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, ideally within a marketing agency, creative services environment, remote-first technology company, or similar fast-paced organization.
  • Proven experience hiring senior individual contributors and first-time managers.
  • Strong understanding of talent assessment, candidate evaluation, and what differentiates exceptional performers.
  • Ability to confidently challenge hiring decisions and provide thoughtful recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust across leadership teams.
  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes with a high level of ownership and attention to detail.
  • Passion for mentoring others and supporting the growth of recruiting teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work environment with flexibility to work from anywhere.
  • Flexible working hours to support work-life balance.
  • Unlimited paid time off and sick days.
  • Employer-covered insurance benefits.
  • Retirement savings support through RVER (Quebec) or RRSP (Ontario).
  • Company-provided laptop.
  • Annual $1,000 budget for health, wellness, and home office setup.
  • Potential support for coworking space access.
  • Strong opportunities for career growth and professional development.
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing talent organization.
