This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager - 18 Month Contract based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to shape meaningful customer experiences throughout the entire lifecycle, from onboarding and adoption to retention and expansion.
You will design and optimize scalable lifecycle programs that help customers achieve long-term value from innovative technology solutions.

Accountabilities:

As a Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will own the strategy and execution of customer lifecycle initiatives designed to improve engagement, adoption, retention, and expansion. You will leverage customer insights, automation platforms, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver personalized experiences that support business goals and customer success.

  • Define and execute customer lifecycle strategies aligned with key objectives such as onboarding effectiveness, product adoption, renewal readiness, and customer growth.
  • Build scalable lifecycle frameworks that support customers across different stages of their journey, from implementation through long-term engagement.
  • Develop customer segmentation strategies and create targeted programs based on customer needs, behaviors, and business priorities.
  • Design multi-channel engagement campaigns across email, in-app messaging, webinars, and educational content to improve customer experiences.
  • Partner with customer success teams to create proactive engagement programs that increase adoption, reduce churn risks, and drive customer value realization.
  • Analyze customer behavior data, journey analytics, and health metrics to identify opportunities and optimize lifecycle programs.
  • Monitor campaign performance, define success metrics, and continuously improve programs through testing and data-driven insights.
  • Build and manage automated customer journeys using platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Planhat, or similar marketing automation tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing operations teams to ensure data quality, workflow efficiency, and scalable automation practices.
  • Develop customer-facing messaging and content including onboarding resources, adoption communications, and renewal-focused materials.
  • Work closely with Product, Sales, Support, and Customer Success teams to align lifecycle initiatives with broader business strategies and product priorities.
  • Leverage emerging AI tools to support personalization, content creation, workflow optimization, and customer engagement strategies.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a strategic and customer-focused marketing professional with strong experience designing lifecycle programs within technology-driven environments. You should be comfortable combining creativity, analytics, automation, and collaboration to build experiences that improve customer relationships and business outcomes.

  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, customer marketing, retention marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with B2B SaaS products, technology platforms, or customer-focused digital solutions is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle strategy, retention programs, and engagement methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Planhat, 6sense, or equivalent tools.
  • Proven ability to design and execute multi-channel campaigns that improve customer engagement and retention.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer data, journey metrics, and performance insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills with the ability to create clear and compelling customer messaging.
  • Strong project management abilities with experience managing multiple priorities and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across Customer Success, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for understanding user needs and creating meaningful experiences.
  • Ability to leverage AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual base salary range of approximately $80,000 to $112,000 CAD, depending on experience, skills, education, and location.
