Primary Function:

The Quality TA IV position focuses on the Clean Room and end-user return in fulfilling both spare parts and “advance repair” actions on a daily basis. This position receives spare/service parts and manages inventory control. A person in this position also repairs inline defects and embarks on special assignment(s) from the Quality Management team: This position also requires that the technician be able to create, maintain, and manage Clean Room TVs awaiting repair. Including spare parts inventories cause and escalate. The Quality TA IV works as a technical specialist in either the clean room or in end-user return. The core responsibility of this position is to ensure advanced repairs of damaged TV units either for production, refurbishment, and scraps. A person in this position is a problem solver focused on cost savings that align with quality metrics.

Essential Functions:

Clean Room Technician Responsibility (60%)

  • Maintain accurate systematic and physical customer service spare parts inventory.
  • Receives, processes, and separates service parts inventories in an organized/defined space.
  • Ensures 100% accuracy of systematic data input of spare parts.
  • Repair defective SKDs sent to the Clean Room.
  • Transfer Clean Room repaired SKDs back to the production lines or complete the entire assembly in clean room area and move them to the warehouse.
  • Keeps and maintains a high level of 5S/Cleanliness of the spare part and clean room areas

Communication (25%)

  • Responsible for managing quality daily reports.
  • Communicates any production and warehouse operations issues and escalate to management as needed (IT, Production, Warehouse, Plant management).

Special Projects (10%)

  • Complete special projects, keep work area clean and work independently as assigned by management.

All other duties as assigned by management (5%)

Requirements:

Key Competencies:

  • HS diploma or some education/certification Is desired
  • 1-3 years experience as production technician
  • Entry to Intermediate Advance Microsoft Office Skills is a must have.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize
  • Must be highly organized and thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and PC skills.
  • Highly motivated; enthusiastic, energetic, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
