Qwaltec provides a great working environment for self-starters looking to learn, innovate, and grow with the company. Our core values of integrity, respect, excellence, teamwork, and agility guide our business practice.

Qwaltec has an immediate opening for a full-time Finance Manager. The Finance Manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for leading and scaling the company's finance function in support of continued growth. Responsibilities:

· Lead the company's finance function, ensuring financial operations support profitable growth, scalability, and informed business decision-making.

· Own the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial reporting.

· Develop financial models, analyses, dashboards, and key performance indicators that provide management visibility into company performance.

· Lead pricing strategy, cost proposals, indirect rate planning, and financial analysis to support business development, capture, and contract execution.

· Oversee government contract accounting compliance, including indirect rates, provisional billing rates, incurred cost submissions, financial audits, and interactions with DCAA, DCMA, and other government agencies.

· Direct accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, month-end and year-end close processes, and financial statement preparation.

· Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, workflows, automation, reporting capabilities, and internal controls.

· Establish and maintain policies, procedures, documentation, and training to ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, DFARS, contract requirements, and company standards.

· Partner with company leadership to support strategic planning, profitability analysis, workforce planning, investment decisions, and organizational growth.

· Collaborate with Operations, Contracts, Growth, and Program teams to translate financial data into actionable business insights.

· Develop organizational depth and redundancy across key finance and accounting functions to reduce key-person dependencies and support long-term scalability.

· Supervise, mentor, and develop finance and accounting personnel.

· Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices and recommend improvements to strengthen the company's financial performance and competitive position.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in finance and accounting within a government services business, including responsibility for government contract accounting, pricing, indirect rates, financial reporting, and compliance.

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

· Demonstrated experience supporting financial operations for government contracts, including cost-reimbursable, fixed-price, T&M, IDIQ, and multi-award contract vehicles.

· In-depth knowledge of GAAP, FAR, DFARS, CAS, DCAA audit requirements, indirect rate structures, pricing, and incurred cost submissions.

· Demonstrated experience developing and managing budgets, forecasts, cash flow plans, financial reporting, and strategic business analysis.

· Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across functional areas, including Operations, Contracts, Program Management, Business Development, and Executive Leadership.

· Demonstrated success improving financial processes, implementing operational efficiencies, automating workflows, and scaling financial operations.

· Demonstrated success facilitating financial compliance, positive audit outcomes, and strong internal controls.

· Exceptional organizational, analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal communication, and time-management skills.

· Eligible to work in the United States and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
