Job Summary
Southend Pharmacy is seeking a Fulfillment Technician who will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of healthcare orders and supplies within the Health Care and Social Assistance industry. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end fulfillment process, including receiving, verifying, assembling, and distributing medical equipment and supplies to healthcare providers and patients. The role demands meticulous attention to detail to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. The Fulfillment Technician collaborates closely with clinical teams, inventory managers, and logistics personnel to optimize workflow efficiency and inventory accuracy. Ultimately, this position supports the delivery of essential healthcare services by maintaining a seamless supply chain and fulfillment operation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming medical supply orders and inventory shipments for accuracy and condition
- Assemble, package, and prepare medical equipment and supplies according to specific healthcare provider or patient requirements
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, order status, and fulfillment activities using electronic tracking systems
- Coordinate with clinical and logistics teams to prioritize and expedite urgent orders while adhering to regulatory compliance
- Perform routine quality checks and equipment maintenance to ensure all supplies meet safety and operational standards
- Assist in inventory audits and report discrepancies or potential supply chain issues to management
- Adhere to all health, safety, and confidentiality protocols in handling sensitive medical materials and patient information
What We Require
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a healthcare or medical supply environment, preferably in a fulfillment or inventory role
- Basic knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards related to medical equipment and supplies
- Proficiency with inventory management software and electronic record-keeping systems
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high accuracy in a fast-paced environment
