About This Role
The Marketing & Communications team at Geronimo Power is seeking a Digital Marketing Lead to power the next chapter of our digital presence and brand storytelling. This individual contributor role owns the strategy and execution behind our digital assets and platforms — from our corporate and project websites to video, creative design, and brand visualization — while using data, analytics, market research, and AI-powered tools to sharpen how we show up across every channel. The ideal candidate is equal parts analyst and creative: someone who can turn performance data into a stronger creative brief, leverage AI to scale output without sacrificing quality, deliver high-quality work on tight timelines, manage vendors and suppliers with superior project management and ROI oversight, and partner across teams to bring our farmer-founded, community-focused brand to life.
Responsibilities
Digital Asset and Design Management
- Lead day-to-day management, optimization, and governance of Geronimo Power's digital assets and platforms, including but not limited to the corporate website, project microsites, and supporting digital properties.
- Plan, produce, and edit photography and video content — from short-form social cutdowns to project, executive, and community-impact storytelling — managing the full lifecycle from concept and shot list through final delivery and partnering with our external photography and videography teams to deliver on-time and within budget.
- Drive creative design work across digital and print, including but not limited to advertising, photography, presentations, social graphics, project collateral, and event materials, ensuring every touchpoint reflects our brand standards.
- Build and maintain a performance tracking framework (web, video, photo, iconography, logos, social, email, paid, etc.) using data and analytics to measure impact, identify trends, and translate insights into clear recommendations for marketing, communications, and leadership.
- Deliver additional visual creative design and management across the brand, including but may not be limited to illustrations, infographics, icon systems, photo art direction, and AI-generated visual renderings of projects, sites, and concepts — ensuring all assets meet brand standards and responsibly disclose AI-assisted creation where appropriate.
- Support digital and visual aspects of executive thought leadership and project announcements, including but not limited to landing pages, video and photography assets, creative visuals, social rollouts, and analytics readouts.
Brand Asset Management
- Own brand visualization across channels — evolving visual systems, templates, and guidelines so the Geronimo Power identity is applied consistently and powerfully by internal teams and external vendors.
- Lead project naming, logo design, and management for Geronimo Power's portfolio of projects — partnering with development, legal, and external affairs on naming strategy, trademark considerations, and rollout, as well as maintaining a centralized logo library with usage guidelines for internal and external partners.
- Own the end-to-end branded apparel and promotional items program, including management of the online ordering platform, third-party vendor and supplier relationships, product sourcing and selection, branding application and quality control, inventory planning, and analysis of product performance, cost, and ROI to continuously improve the assortment.
AI Leadership
- Evaluate, implement, and operationalize AI systems and tools for the Marketing & Communications team (i.e., generative AI for copy and creative, AI-assisted video and image production, analytics and SEO copilots, workflow automation) to accelerate output, sharpen insights, and elevate creative quality — while ensuring brand voice, accuracy, and responsible-use standards.
- AI Championship: develop and deliver training and onboarding programs that build AI fluency and digital marketing best practices across the Marketing & Communications team and key cross-functional partners, including but not limited to prompt libraries, brand-safe AI guidelines, and hands-on enablement sessions.
Other
- Manage external vendors, agencies, and freelancers (web developers, videographers, designers, media buyers, research partners, etc.) scoping work, negotiating contracts, overseeing deliverables, and holding partners accountable to budget, brand and timeline.
- Stay ahead of digital, design, video, analytics, and AI trends, recommending new tools, platforms, and approaches that keep Geronimo Power's marketing modern, agile, and competitive.
- Conduct market, audience, and competitive research to inform positioning, campaign strategy, and creative direction, with a particular focus on energy, data centers, and rural community engagement.
- Partner closely with internal collaborators and SMEs, including but not limited to: PR, Events, Internal Communications, Development, Community Engagement, and External Affairs teammates to ensure digital execution reinforces broader campaign and reputation goals.
- · Onboard [LS1] new team members, vendors, and agency partners to Geronimo Power's digital ecosystem, brand standards, and approved toolset, ensuring fast ramp-up and consistent execution (shared responsibility).
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the changing needs of the company.
