Job Description

Content Marketing Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content Marketing Manager based in United States.

This role owns the creation and performance of member-facing content across multiple healthcare service lines.
You will shape content strategy, produce high-quality communications, and help drive engagement across email and digital content hubs.
The position combines hands-on writing and production with content library management, case studies, enablement assets, and AI-assisted workflows.
You will collaborate closely with account owners, campaign production teams, and cross-functional partners to turn briefs into effective member communications.
Success is measured through content engagement, production volume, turnaround times, quality, brand consistency, and service-line coverage.
The role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of content, healthcare communications, technology, and emerging AI-enabled production methods.
This fully remote U.S. opportunity offers a $90,000–$110,000 salary range, flexible time off, comprehensive benefits, and a virtual-first working environment.

Accountabilities:

As Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for content strategy and production across service lines, ensuring that member-facing communications are engaging, accurate, on-brand, and delivered efficiently. You will manage content workflows and capacity while working within clearly defined responsibilities alongside account, campaign production, compliance, and commercialization teams.

  • Develop and execute content strategy and production across service lines, engagement showcases, and content libraries.
  • Write and produce member-facing email and digital content at scale.
  • Input email content into the Knak email CMS, including copy and image selection.
  • Own and maintain the Engagement Hub content library, ensuring content remains organized, relevant, and up to date.
  • Produce case studies and enablement assets based on direction and designs provided by account owners.
  • Direct freelance, contractor, and AI-assisted content capacity to meet production volume and quality expectations.
  • Use AI-assisted drafting workflows while applying strong editorial judgment and quality control.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice across all member-facing content.
  • Track and contribute to content engagement across email and hub content, including open and click performance.
  • Monitor content throughput and turnaround against approved briefs.
  • Ensure content coverage aligns with service-line content plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve content performance, quality, consistency, and production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with account owners on content requirements, briefs, approvals, and customer priorities.
  • Work effectively with campaign production teams while respecting ownership boundaries around campaign builds, QA, sends, timing, and deliverability.
  • Route content appropriately to Compliance or Legal when regulated or clinically sensitive considerations require additional review.
  • Support a consistent, scalable content operation across competing internal priorities.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong content production experience with an understanding of member, consumer, or patient communications. You should be comfortable operating in regulated environments, managing content at scale, directing external production resources, and using AI-assisted tools without compromising editorial quality or brand standards.

  • 5+ years of experience producing consumer, member, or patient-facing content at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve content engagement metrics, not simply deliver content on schedule.
  • Experience creating content within regulated or clinically sensitive environments.
  • Sound judgment regarding when content should be escalated to Compliance or Legal.
  • Experience directing freelance, agency, or contractor resources against defined briefs.
  • Working fluency with AI-assisted content drafting and production tools.
  • Strong editorial judgment and ability to maintain quality across AI-assisted and human-created content.
  • Ability to operate effectively as shared content capacity across competing internal demands.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Healthcare, health plan, or behavioral health content experience preferred.
  • Experience with Knak, Braze, or comparable content and email production platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards for member communications is a plus.
  • Experience building, organizing, or restructuring a content library is preferred.
Benefits:
  • Salary: $90,000–$110,000 annual base salary, with eligibility for an annual performance bonus.
  • Work Model: Fully remote, virtual-first working environment.
  • Flexibility: Flexible Personal Time Off.
  • Retirement: 401(k) matching.
  • Healthcare: Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Family Support: Paid parental leave, including maternity and paternity leave.
  • Equity: Employee Stock Purchase Program.
  • Wellness: Free access to the Calm app and other wellness resources.
  • Healthcare Access: Complimentary access to select virtual healthcare and second-opinion services.
  • Education: Tuition Assistance Program.
  • Pet Care: Pet insurance.
  • Professional Development: Opportunities to stretch, learn, and grow within a collaborative environment.
  • Mission Impact: Opportunity to create communications that support more accessible, convenient, and effective healthcare experiences.
  • Innovation: Exposure to AI-assisted content production and technology-enabled healthcare communications.
