Clinical Director – Behavioral Health Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada at Thrive Behavioral Hospital LLC

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director to provide leadership and oversight of clinical services within an inpatient behavioral health hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about quality patient care, staff development, and building effective behavioral health programs.

The Clinical Director will work closely with hospital leadership and the interdisciplinary team to ensure clinical services are delivered safely, effectively, and in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

• Provide leadership and oversight for clinical and therapeutic services across the hospital
• Supervise, mentor, and support therapists, social services staff, and other clinical team members
• Ensure treatment planning, documentation, assessments, and discharge planning meet clinical and regulatory standards
• Monitor clinical quality, patient outcomes, and documentation compliance
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and clinical programming
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and hospital leadership meetings
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of clinical staff
• Collaborate with nursing, medical, intake, utilization review, and administrative leadership
• Ensure compliance with applicable state, federal, licensing, and accreditation requirements
• Identify opportunities to strengthen clinical programming, patient experience, and continuity of care
• Assist with survey readiness, audits, corrective action plans, and quality improvement initiatives

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field required
• Active Nevada clinical licensure strongly preferred (LCSW, LMFT, LCPC/CPC, or equivalent)
• Previous behavioral health leadership or clinical supervisory experience required
• Inpatient psychiatric hospital, acute behavioral health, residential treatment, or similar experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health treatment, clinical documentation, discharge planning, and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
