Service & Sales Technician - Las Vegas, NV - Clark's

We are growing our Commercial Roofing Service team and looking for someone who brings both hands-on commercial roofing experience and strong customer relationship skills.

This is not a traditional sales-only position. We are looking for someone who understands commercial roofing systems, can inspect and troubleshoot roof issues, perform repairs when needed, communicate confidently with customers, and identify additional opportunities to help customers protect and maintain their roofing systems.

The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with customers, building long-term relationships, solving problems, and turning those relationships into additional service, repair, maintenance, and restoration opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform commercial roof inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, and hands-on repairs.
• Identify leaks, deficiencies, damage, and potential future roofing concerns.
• Clearly explain findings and recommended solutions to customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facility managers, building owners, general contractors, and other customers.
• Identify opportunities for preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, roof restoration/coating systems, and additional service work.
• Develop new customer relationships while continuing to grow existing accounts.
• Conduct job walks and gather measurements, photos, documentation, and other information needed to develop repair recommendations and proposals.
• Prepare scopes of work, estimates, proposals, and repair recommendations.
• Follow up with customers regarding proposals, upcoming work, completed repairs, and future roofing needs.
• Provide a high level of customer service throughout the entire service process.
• Coordinate with service management, project managers, field teams, purchasing, and other departments to ensure work is completed successfully.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, roof conditions, repairs, recommendations, and opportunities.
• Help customers understand preventive maintenance options and long-term roofing solutions.
• Represent the company professionally while on customer properties, job sites, and during meetings.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills

• Strong hands-on knowledge of commercial roofing systems and repair methods.
• Experience diagnosing commercial roof leaks and determining appropriate repair solutions.
• Understanding of common commercial roofing systems such as TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, coatings, and related systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to build relationships and develop trust with customers.
• Comfortable identifying and discussing additional service and repair opportunities with customers.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of customer needs from initial inspection through completion.
• Ability to prepare professional reports, proposals, scopes of work, and customer correspondence.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, managers, vendors, and manufacturer representatives.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other standard business applications.
• Ability to safely access and inspect commercial roofing systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience, preferably with a strong background in commercial roofing service and repair.
• Previous experience working directly with commercial roofing customers is strongly preferred.
• Experience with roofing service sales, estimating, account management, or customer relationship development is preferred.
• Must be comfortable performing hands-on commercial roofing repairs as part of the position.
• Must be comfortable discussing repair recommendations, maintenance options, and additional roofing services with customers.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to customer locations and job sites.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.
