Marketing Specialist, StarCenters in Frisco, Texas at DSE Hockey Centers LP

JOB SUMMARY: This position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing activities and campaigns that promote the organization’s programs, services, and a variety of special events. This position is not eligible for remote work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Execute marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives supporting programs, tournaments, in-house leagues, camps, and clinics, public events, and special events
• Capture and produce photo and video content for use on social media, websites, email marketing, and promotional campaigns
• Coordinate the production and distribution of print materials
• Coordinate marketing project requests from facility and program leadership and monitor projects through completion
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and community engagement opportunities
• Support sponsorship activations, community partnerships, and promotional events
• Provide on-site marketing support for tournaments, special events, and promotional activities

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support daily social media operations across multiple company platforms, including content scheduling, audience engagement, and campaign execution
• Assist with gathering and analyzing marketing performance metrics
• Assist with website maintenance including content updates and coordinating revisions

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in marketing, communications, or another business-related field
• One to three years of experience
• Proven organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate with other departments and vendors
• Ability to develop strategies that support organizational goals and respond to changing business needs
• Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and special events

Physical Demands and Working Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle large objects, tools, carts and drive machinery. Reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, talk, and hear for up to 8-14 hours a day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may be required to work both indoors and outdoors as required by the function, and may be also exposed to adverse conditions including inclement weather, noise, fumes etc.
