Charge Nurse /Assistant Nurse Manager (N2) - for Radiology and PICC

Summary: Under the supervision of a higher-level professional nurse, the Charge Nurse will assist in the clinical management of patients in Radiology and PICC areas, using accepted nursing practice such as the diagnosis and treatment of human responses to actual and potential health problems through such services as case findings, health counseling and provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being, and executing medical regimens prescribed by a physician. Supervision is exercised over professional nurses, aides and clerical support staff, which includes practical training and staff development.

License: Current license in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse. Certified in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association. Other certifications as required in a specialty area.

Training and Experience: Must have a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience.
