Position Summary: At Tru & Home2 Suites by Hilton, you are Free to be You with Tru Spirit! Our team brings energy and a fresh, playful attitude to every shift, creating an easygoing, welcoming place where team members and guests feel they belong. As a Laundry Attendant, you’ll keep our brand-new hotel running behind the scenes. You’ll wash, dry, fold, organize and distribute linens, towels, uniforms and other items. You’ll run our commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently, and you’ll keep the laundry room clean and organized. You’ll also make sure every department has the clean linens it needs, when it needs them. Every crisp sheet and fluffy towel helps make a guest’s stay feel fresh and comfortable. What You Will Do:
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold and organize all hotel linens, including but not limited to towels, pillowcases, blankets, and uniforms
- Use commercial laundry equipment while following proper washing procedures, chemical usage and following manufacturer recommendations
- Operate washers, dryers, ironing equipment, folding equipment, and other laundry machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions promptly
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of clean linens by distributing to housekeeping closets, linen rooms, guest floors, pool deck and other hotel departments.
- Inspect linens for stains, damages, excessive wear or quality concerns.
- Remove damaged items from service, report inventory needs and make sure only clean, presentable linens are returned for guest use.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry room, equipment, tables, storage area, and chemical storage.
- Dispose of trash, lint and debris
- Deliver linens, stock housekeeping carts, transport soiled linens, assist with deep cleaning projects and respond to operational needs as requested
- Follow all housekeeping, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Greet guests with a friendly smile and help when you can
- Other duties as assigned by leadership
- Hotel housekeeping experience preferred
- Knowledge of commercial laundry equipment and proper linen procedures preferred
- Ability to safely operate washers, dryers, ironing equipment and folding equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to organize and maintain linen inventories
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling and laundry sanitation procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A warm, welcoming attitude and pride in a job well done

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout shift
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and stretch on a regular basis
- Ability to push and pull and lift up to [50] lbs on a regular basis
