Senior Financial Analyst in New Baltimore, Michigan at ABPC Company LLC
Job Description
ABOUT ANCHOR BAY POWDER COAT
Anchor Bay Powder Coat is a growing advanced surface coating and finishing company serving aerospace, defense, power generation, infrastructure and industrial markets. We're ISO 9001 and AS9100 certified, and we're scaling fast while keeping our quality high and our lead times short.
WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
This isn't a seat on a big corporate finance team where you update one spreadsheet. You'll be our finance lead, working side by side with the CEO, and your work will directly shape how the company grows.
- Report directly to the CEO and see how business decisions really get made
- Own finance end to end: reporting, cash, AP/AR, pricing and profitability
- Build modern systems using QuickBooks Online, Excel and AI tools, and help us replace paper processes
- Grow with the company: as we scale, this role grows in scope and responsibility
- A great next step for an analyst or accountant with a few years of experience who's ready for real ownership
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for leadership and capital partners, and explain what the numbers mean
- Manage cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable and day-to-day accounting
- Follow up on past-due receivables and set consistent payment terms with customers and suppliers
- Analyze product, service and pricing profitability, and recommend ways to improve margins
- Run the company credit card program and expense reporting process
- Improve our finance systems and processes, replacing manual and paper-based work with digital tools
- Spend time on the shop floor with operations to understand the business and help reduce lead times
- Handle confidential information with integrity
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting or a related role
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field preferred; relevant experience considered
- Strong Excel skills; QuickBooks Online experience is a plus
- Comfortable using AI tools (such as Claude) to work faster and smarter
- Able to turn data into clear, practical recommendations
- A clear communicator who's comfortable with both the CEO and the shop floor
- Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
- This is a fully on-site role at our New Baltimore, MI facility
- Must currently live within commuting distance of New Baltimore (Macomb, St. Clair and northern Oakland County area)
- Relocation assistance is not available
WHO THRIVES HERE
You want ownership, not just tasks. You like modern tools and are excited to build systems while a company grows. You want to see the direct impact of your work, and you're looking for a company you can grow with for the long term. A fast-paced manufacturing environment doesn't scare you.
OUR CORE VALUES
Best-in-class lead times, uncompromising quality, dependable relationships and exceptional customer interactions.
