Job Description
The Facilities Manager is responsible for ongoing custodial services, facilities maintenance, and special projects across 3 locations in the Sacramento area. The facilities include several buildings with office space, hangar space and landscaping on airport properties.
This role has 3 primary responsibilities:
1. Custodial: Daily removal of trash, replacement of soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in dispensers. Cleaning of sinks, counters, and tabletops. Vacuum and mop as needed. Dusting of light fixtures, blinds, and cabinets. Spot cleaning of carpet stains and over all cleaning of carpet as needed. Regularly clean windows and power spray sidewalks and buildings.
2. General Maintenance: Personally accomplish, if possible, and outsource as necessary, all facility maintenance tasks and facility upkeep. These tasks include asphalt/tarmac maintenance, concrete and sidewalks, HVAC, light bulbs in offices and hangars, doorknobs, keys, locks, cabinet handles and all other non-aircraft related mechanical issues including faucets, toilet/urinal mechanisms, toilet seats, fixtures and paint. All tenant maintenance requests should be considered as high priority.
3. Landscaping: Oversee the quality of work performed by the designated landscaping contractor and direct projects on an as needed basis.
This position is vital to SACjet's base tenants, customers, and employees. The results of efforts dedicated to our facilities will often be the first and last impression received by our customers. The order, cleanliness and functionality of the Jet Center constantly speaks to the highest level of safety and service that our clientele has come to expect.
