As an Inside Sales Representative, you will act as a trusted partner to our existing clients. Your mission is to manage a portfolio of professional chefs and buyers, facilitating the daily order process while identifying opportunities to expand our reach through consultative selling.

Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts; manage retention, conduct regular check-ins, and resolve roadblocks professionally.
- Sales Growth: Drive revenue KPIs by identifying opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell high-quality perishables based on changing customer needs.
- Consultative Selling: Analyze client volume and trends to tailor solutions that compel chefs to trust Four Star Seafood for their gourmet needs.
- Lead Development: Follow up on inbound leads and execute sales campaigns via phone and email to expand market penetration.
- Operational Excellence: Use internal sales systems for lead management and forecasting; maintain accurate client records and monitor inventory levels.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent our values of sustainability and quality in every interaction.
If you would like to join our dynamic team, you will bring the following traits to the position:
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the Food & Beverage industry (restaurants or commercial kitchens) is required. Knowledge of seafood or perishables is a major plus.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills; must be fluent in English (Bilingual skills are a plus).
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and Google Workspace.
- Adaptability: Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a "go-getter" attitude.
- Organization: High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Mindset: Team-oriented, trustworthy, and passionate about exemplary customer service.
- Trustworthy with strong work ethic and integrity.
Work Hours and Availability:
This is a full-time position based out of the San Francisco location. Work schedule is Tuesday – Saturday, from 6:00am – 2:30pm; some flexibility is required based on business needs.
Compensation and Benefits:
This a salaried exempt position. The starting pay for this position is $70,304/annually. Employee benefits are available for all qualifying full-time employees, including paid time off, medical, vision, and dental insurance. In addition, employees receive fresh seafood products and company merchandise at cost plus 10%.
