Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Responsible for developing, updating, coordinating, and tracking clinician orientation content and onboarding programs. Provides ongoing training & development support. Monitors training performance progress and ensures training goals and expectations are met satisfactorily. Leverages content delivery platforms (e.g., smart sheet). Identify opportunities and challenges and consult with Clinician Development Team to develop solutions to address these areas. Ensure clinician’s providers have training and instruction on how to access and effectively utilize health care technology and responds to triaging and delivering seamless coordination for clinician support needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conceptualize, updates, and develops clinician training programs and prepares and presents materials (process guides, policies, manuals, etc.) (i.e., EHR) to ensure they are relevant and current and enhances the clinician training experience and performance.

Establish initial positive relations, and coordinates clinician orientation and onboarding training. Coordinates clinician orientation/onboarding schedule to ensure it does not interfere with other clinician training and credentialing requirements.

Tracks progress and ensures timely completion of orientation and onboarding training for core business clinicians as well as clinicians in acquired/merged practices. Provides progress completion status and next step recommendation(s) to the Clinician Development Team and/or CMO as required, for assessment.

Identify new training solutions, initiatives, and opportunities for enhancing clinician experience. Respond to ongoing clinician education/training needs by (1) assessing training delivery medium of communication and executing learning objectives using Company resources; (2) receives train-the-trainer training on clinician related topics, processes, and procedures; and (3) participates in Company intradepartmental committees and translates these clinicians’ focused initiatives into training course content, materials, and info sessions.

Maintains list of stipend-eligible preceptor clinicians. Prepares stipend form, obtains approval for stipend payment, and submits required forms and documents to payroll.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Clinician Training & Development specialist monitors and tracks new clinician performance in terms of template volume and visit time and shares this information with the Clinician Development Team Coordinator and Director of Clinician Engagement & Performance to determine clinician advancement during training. This role also builds the work assignments for new clinicians during training.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:

Associate degree required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience may be commensurate with education.
EXPERIENCE:
-
A minimum of 3 years’ experience required in a healthcare setting.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
-
LPN or RN License preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of Clinician training and development a preferred.

Advanced Excel and Outlook skills
