Position Overview:
The Administrative Summer Intern provides administrative, operational, and project support assistance to assigned departments within TechPro Power Group and affiliated business units. This role supports daily office operations through data entry, document management, reporting assistance, file organization, and general administrative support activities.
The intern will gain exposure to business operations within the electrical power and industrial services industry while supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, project-based environment. Responsibilities may vary based on departmental needs, business unit structure, and assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative & Office Support:
· Perform data entry and maintain accurate electronic records and files.
· Assist with organizing, scanning, uploading, and maintaining company documents.
· Support general office administrative tasks including filing, copying, and document preparation.
· Assist with preparing spreadsheets, reports, and tracking logs.
2. Operational & Project Support:
· Provide support to operations, project management, HR, accounting, safety, or other departments as assigned.
· Assist with tracking project-related information and maintaining internal databases.
· Support reporting activities and help verify accuracy of entered information.
· Assist with updating internal systems and records.
3. Communication & Coordination:
· Communicate professionally with internal employees and leadership teams.
· Assist with scheduling meetings, organizing materials, and coordinating administrative activities.
· Support cross-functional collaboration efforts across departments.
4. Learning & Development:
· Gain exposure to company operations, project workflows, and industry practices.
· Participate in training and learning opportunities related to assigned responsibilities.
· Develop professional skills in communication, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving.
5. Additional Responsibilities
· Perform other related duties as assigned to support business needs.

Requirements:Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills & Attributes):
· High school diploma or equivalent required; currently pursuing a college degree or technical program preferred.
· Interest in business operations, administration, construction, engineering, project management, accounting, safety, or related fields preferred.
· Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
· Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
· Reliable attendance and ability to manage assigned tasks in a professional environment.
· Valid driver’s license required; must be able to operate a company or personal vehicle for business purposes and meet all applicable company and client screening requirements based on job duties (e.g., motor vehicle record, background check, drug testing, or other applicable screenings).
Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior internship, administrative, customer service, or office experience preferred.
· Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, or data entry tasks preferred.
· Interest in the electrical power, construction, engineering, or industrial services industry preferred.
Physical Requirements:
This job involves both indoor and outdoor work. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
· Lift, carry and/or move up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
· Climb ladders, staircases, step stools, stand, walk, sit, and operate vehicles for extended periods.
· Bend, stoop, crawl and work in awkward positions or confined spaces for several hours.
The employee may occasionally be required to:
· Work outdoors in varying weather conditions including intense heat/cold, muddy and wet environments.
· Perform precision tasks with instruments and fittings.
· Communicate verbally and in writing.
