Job Description

Senior Partner Sales Manager - Central

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Partner Sales Manager - Central based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to build and lead a partner sales business across the Central U.S. territory, supporting Commercial, Enterprise, Strategic, and SLED sales teams. You will turn relationships with resellers, systems integrators, and services partners into measurable pipeline, revenue, and customer opportunities. As a senior individual contributor, you will shape partner strategy, activate new relationships, and create repeatable channel processes in a build-stage environment. You will work closely with account executives, sales engineering, alliances, marketing, and sales development to strengthen account strategies and accelerate deals. The role combines strategic territory development with hands-on field engagement and requires strong commercial judgment and independence. With approximately 40% travel, you will maintain an active presence across the region through partner visits, customer meetings, and industry events.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and execute the partner sales strategy across the Central U.S., supporting Commercial, Enterprise, Strategic, and SLED segments.
  • Activate priority regional partners through joint business planning, account mapping, seller engagement, technical enablement, and coordinated go-to-market activities.
  • Build partner-sourced opportunities and take ownership of partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, revenue, and deal progression.
  • Partner closely with account executives throughout the sales cycle, using partner relationships, market intelligence, and services capabilities to strengthen account strategies.
  • Help field sellers understand when and how to engage partners effectively to create customer value and advance opportunities.
  • Coordinate Sales, Sales Engineering, Alliances, Marketing, and Sales Development teams around priority opportunities, ensuring technical resources are engaged with clear objectives and relevant context.
  • Establish consistent cadences for pipeline reviews, partner engagement, performance measurement, and follow-through.
  • Evaluate partner activity and performance, adjusting investment and engagement strategies when results do not meet expectations.
  • Develop productive relationships across the regional reseller, systems integrator, and services partner ecosystem.
  • Build scalable partner processes and operating rhythms that can support continued territory growth.
  • Maintain an active field presence through partner visits, customer meetings, and regional events across the Central U.S.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in partner sales, channel sales, alliances, business development, direct sales, or equivalent senior-level commercial roles.
  • Demonstrated success building or significantly growing a territory or partner business in a startup or comparable build-stage environment.
  • Proven ability to create structure, establish repeatable processes, and deliver measurable results with limited resources and an evolving playbook.
  • Established relationships with at least two relevant national or regional resellers, systems integrators, or services partners serving the Central U.S., with a track record of converting those relationships into pipeline and revenue.
  • Experience supporting multiple sales segments and adapting partner strategies to different customer needs, sales cycles, and account priorities.
  • Ability to position technical platforms effectively and engage both partner sellers and technical teams in customer opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of how technology alliances, services partners, and channel relationships can work together to support customer outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through skills, with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners without direct authority.
  • Strong independent judgment and a proactive, commercially focused approach to territory and partner development.
  • Ability to recognize when specialist resources are required and coordinate technical or cross-functional support effectively.
  • Comfortable maintaining an active field presence and traveling regularly across the Central U.S.
  • Candidates from both technology vendors and partner organizations are encouraged to apply when they can demonstrate the required partner-building and sales experience.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship or transfer of sponsorship is not available.

Benefits:

  • Target annual compensation of $250,000–$300,000, including salary and commission.
  • Equity compensation.
  • Remote position based in the Central U.S.
  • Approximately 40% travel for partner visits, customer meetings, and regional events.
  • Opportunity to build a partner business and shape territory strategy rather than inherit an established partner portfolio.
  • High level of ownership and autonomy in a senior individual contributor role.
  • Cross-functional exposure across sales, sales engineering, alliances, marketing, and sales development.
  • Opportunity to work with reseller, systems integrator, and services partner ecosystems.
  • Opportunity to contribute to the expansion of AI-powered workflow, automation, and integration solutions.
  • Fast-paced environment focused on experimentation, learning, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Opportunity to develop repeatable partner programs and directly influence regional business growth.
