CAH-Surgical Clinic- Union LPN - Part-Time- Day Shift 8a-4:00p- Req 9769

Pay Range: $26.48-$31.83*

Provides care for patients in a clinic setting under the supervision of a Qualified Medical Practitioner (QMP). The Clinic Nurse performs tasks and responsibilities within the framework of teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a QMP. The Clinic Nurse ensures that compassionate, engaged care meets or exceeds quality standards. Care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with the NYS licensure and Carthage Area Hospital standard of care. May be required to float to other clinics as needed as determined by Nurse or Clinic Manager. Scheduled shifts will fluctuate and vary dependent on operational needs; shift start and end times will range accordingly from 7 am to 7 pm.

EDUCATION:

Required:

Preferred:

• High school diploma/GED

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Valid NYS LPN License

• Completion of successful EKG orientation

• Current BLS certification.

TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

Required:

Sustained efforts to maintain current knowledge base regarding professional and practice issues

Preferred:

One (1) year experience as LPN in a clinic setting.
