Working closely with digital, content, analytics, and engineering teams, you will influence how audiences discover and engage with professional education solutions.
This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic SEO leader who wants to make a visible impact and define best practices in a rapidly changing search environment.

Accountabilities

The SEO / AEO / GEO Manager will lead the development and execution of comprehensive search strategies across a multi-brand portfolio. This role requires ownership of SEO performance, AI search visibility, content optimization, and collaboration with internal teams to improve discoverability, engagement, and business impact.

  • Own and execute the SEO roadmap, balancing short-term optimization opportunities with long-term structural improvements.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and prioritize improvements related to crawlability, indexing, site speed, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Develop keyword strategies aligned with user intent, customer journeys, product offerings, and content opportunities.
  • Build and maintain SEO performance reporting using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, Ahrefs, or equivalent platforms.
  • Create and implement AI search strategies to improve brand visibility across platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Gemini.
  • Optimize content structures, schema, and information architecture to support AI-generated answers and improve discoverability.
  • Monitor AI visibility, citations, and brand presence while identifying opportunities to improve performance.
  • Apply E-E-A-T principles to guide content quality, authority, and search optimization strategies.
  • Partner with content teams to develop SEO-driven editorial calendars, content briefs, optimization guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Identify content gaps and prioritize the creation of high-value pages, pillar content, topic clusters, FAQs, and internal linking strategies.
  • Collaborate with analytics, engineering, web, and digital teams to integrate SEO best practices into launches, migrations, and platform updates.
  • Communicate SEO insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders, connecting search performance with business outcomes.
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings deep SEO expertise combined with experience in emerging AI search optimization strategies. This role requires someone who can operate independently, influence cross-functional teams, and translate technical search concepts into measurable growth opportunities.

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with proven impact on organic traffic growth, rankings, and visibility.
  • Experience managing SEO initiatives during brand migrations, domain consolidations, or major website transitions.
  • Practical knowledge of AEO and GEO strategies, including experimentation with AI search visibility and LLM-driven discovery.
  • Ability to create clear, actionable SEO content briefs and optimization guidance for content teams.
  • Strong proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and SEO platforms such as Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple brands and manage priorities with limited day-to-day supervision.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in professional education, certification, or continuing education industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce or CMS platforms such as BigCommerce from an SEO implementation perspective is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, structured data (JSON-LD), Google Tag Manager, and technical SEO best practices.
  • Experience with crawling and auditing tools such as Screaming Frog, Botify, or similar platforms is beneficial.
  • Exposure to LLM citation tracking tools or emerging GEO measurement solutions is a strong advantage.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with experience and qualifications.
  • Opportunity to own a newly created strategic role with significant visibility and impact.
  • Flexible remote work environment within the United States.
  • Chance to shape the future of search strategy across traditional and AI-powered discovery channels.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams across digital, content, analytics, and technology functions.
  • Professional growth opportunities in an innovative and rapidly evolving technology landscape.
  • Opportunity to build scalable SEO, AEO, and GEO frameworks from the ground up.
  • A role focused on measurable outcomes, autonomy, and meaningful business impact.
