Keen Home Care & Homes Assisted Living Facility in Los Alamitos has an opportunity for you as a Board & Care Team Leader! We are a 6-bed assisted living home for the elderly. Board & Care Team Leaders play a vital role in the daily care for seniors in a home-like setting. Keen Home Care is a full-service Home Care Agency (HCO) that is licensed with the Department of Social Services (DSS). We provide assistance with the DSS registration process and the Department of Justice background check for unregistered caregivers who have sufficient experience.

$19 - $23 per hour

• Supervise and lead the night shift team

• Ensure residents' safety and well-being

• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)

• Oversee medication administration

• Conduct nightly checks and respond to emergencies

• Maintain a clean and safe environment

• Communicate with residents, families, and staff

• Must be 18 years old

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience with ADL care, transfers and mobility, ROM exercises, and memory care

• 2+ years professional caregiving experience (home care, facility, or similar)

• Registered as a Home Care Aide with the Home Care Services Bureau of California

• Hospice experience preferred but not required

• Ability to pass a background check

• Current TB test, physical, and valid CPR card
