Neonatologist - Margate - Ft Lauderdale Suburb
Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Neonatologist to join our collaborative, experienced 4-physician team at Northwest Medical Center, an HCA Healthcare facility located in the heart of South Florida.
This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a growing program with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, quality improvement, education, and innovation.
Practice Highlights- Level III NICU with 17 beds and an ADC of 12
- Approximately 2,000 annual deliveries
- Care for infants as young as 22 weeks gestation
- Attendance at high-risk deliveries and routine C-sections
- Diverse patient population with a mix of Level III and lower-acuity infants
- Advanced neonatal therapies including:
- Therapeutic Hypothermia (Cooling)
- High-Frequency Jet Ventilation (HFJV)
- High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV)
- Active involvement in quality improvement initiatives
- Partnership with the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative (FPQC)
- Teaching opportunities through PA student rotations
- Flexible scheduling designed to support work-life balance
- Highly experienced and exceptionally supportive nursing staff
- NICU renovation planned in the coming years, supporting continued program growth
