As a Backend Engineer focused on AI platforms, you will build the core infrastructure powering next-generation intelligent productivity applications. You will design and develop scalable backend systems that enable AI-driven workflows, automation, and real-time user experiences. Working at the intersection of backend engineering, distributed systems, and artificial intelligence, you will solve complex technical challenges around performance, reliability, and scalability. • Design, develop, and maintain backend services that support AI-powered product features and intelligent workflows.
• Build scalable infrastructure for AI interactions, including inference pipelines, orchestration layers, and backend systems supporting large-scale usage.
• Create reliable APIs and services used across web, desktop, and mobile applications.
• Optimize system performance through improvements in latency, throughput, caching, batching, and streaming capabilities.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure production reliability.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions that improve platform stability.
• Collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, and AI engineering teams to deliver high-quality features and continuously improve system architecture.
• Contribute to the design decisions and technical foundations of an AI-native platform built for long-term scalability.

• Strong backend engineering experience building and operating production-grade systems.
• Proven experience developing high-throughput and low-latency distributed applications.
• Advanced Python programming skills; experience with Node.js is considered a plus.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing services using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases in scalable production environments.
• Familiarity with AI infrastructure concepts, including LLM inference, embeddings, multimodal models, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, APIs, system reliability, and performance optimization.
• Pragmatic engineering mindset with a focus on delivering reliable, maintainable software.
• Experience with AI platforms, agent workflows, inference optimization, or large-scale AI services is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with technologies such as PyTorch, OpenAI models, Anthropic models, or open-source LLM ecosystems is an advantage.
