Job Description

Description:

Your Clinical Expertise. A New Career Path. A Real Impact.

Join an award-winning personal injury law firm in an exciting NEW role where your medical expertise can change lives!

Are you an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Certified Nurse Practitioner (APRN/CNP) looking for an opportunity to use your clinical knowledge beyond the traditional healthcare setting?

The Wilhite Law Firm is creating a NEW position, and we're looking for the right clinical professional to help shape it!

This isn't your typical healthcare role. You'll bring your medical expertise into the legal world, helping injured clients receive appropriate care, identifying critical treatment needs, and providing clinical insight that makes a meaningful difference in their recovery.

You'll be our go-to clinical expert, working alongside attorneys, case managers, and medical providers to help ensure our clients receive the attention, guidance, and treatment they deserve.

If you love clinical problem-solving, want to make a difference, and are excited about building something new, we want to meet you!

Why You'll Love Wilhite

At Wilhite, we work hard, have fun, and genuinely care about the people we serve—and each other.

  • Make a Real Difference: Use your medical expertise to help injured clients navigate their recovery and get the care they need.
  • Help Build Something New: This is a newly created role with an opportunity to influence how we integrate clinical expertise into our client experience.
  • Be the Clinical Expert: Your knowledge, judgment, and recommendations will be valued by our attorneys, case managers, and leadership.
  • A Different Kind of Clinical Career: Put your advanced medical training to work in a collaborative, nontraditional environment.
  • Meaningful Work, Real Responsibility: Take ownership of clinical evaluations, treatment recommendations, and care progression.
  • A Team That Has Your Back: Work with talented professionals, supportive colleagues, and some really cool leaders.
  • A Culture That Doesn't Take Itself Too Seriously: We value innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, and having fun along the way.
What You'll Do

As our Advanced Practice Clinical Care Manager, you'll serve as the firm's primary internal clinical resource, providing medical expertise, treatment guidance, and clinical oversight throughout the personal injury pre-litigation process.

You'll use your advanced clinical training to help ensure clients receive appropriate medical evaluations, follow-up care, and treatment recommendations while collaborating with the medical professionals responsible for their care.

Here's where you'll make an impact:

  • Put Your Clinical Expertise to Work: Evaluate medical histories, injury diagnoses, symptoms, diagnostic findings, and treatment progression to identify medical needs and opportunities for improved care.
  • Guide Clinical Care: Develop individualized clinical recommendations and provide medical treatment guidance regarding appropriate evaluations, specialist consultations, diagnostic testing, and follow-up care within your professional scope of practice.
  • Identify What Others Might Miss: Recognize potential complications, gaps in treatment, delayed recovery, worsening symptoms, and medical concerns requiring further evaluation.
  • Be Our Medical Expert: Serve as the trusted clinical resource for attorneys and case managers, helping them understand complex medical conditions, treatment recommendations, and anticipated recovery.
  • Collaborate With Medical Providers: Work directly with physicians, specialists, rehabilitation professionals, and other healthcare providers to facilitate coordinated and timely care.
  • Help Clients Move Forward: Evaluate treatment progression, identify barriers to care, and provide clinical guidance that supports appropriate treatment and recovery.
  • Bring a Fresh Perspective: Help develop processes, improve treatment coordination, and shape the future of clinical care management at Wilhite.

This is not an administrative scheduling position. We're looking for an experienced advanced practice clinician who can assess complex medical information, exercise sound clinical judgment, and provide meaningful medical guidance.
