JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Title: Supervisor, Supplier Integration & Planning
Reports To: Manager, Supplier Integration & Planning
Position Summary:
This position provides leadership and direction to a multi-tiered planning and supplier integration team to ensure effective material flow, supplier performance, and adherence to organizational standards. This role is accountable for daily oversight of planning activities, supplier alignment, escalation management, and continuous improvement initiatives across planning and integration functions. In addition, the Supervisor will support strategic planning processes, manage governance requirements, and ensure seamless collaboration across operations, planning, purchasing, and supplier management.
Essential Functions:
- Lead and oversee the daily activities of Central Planners and Supplier Integrators, establishing clear performance goals, KPIs, expectations, and ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
- Coach, develop, and support team members through regular feedback, training, performance evaluations, and succession planning activities.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional task forces to manage high‑risk issues such as PAVE escalations, supplier constraints, and other critical operational challenges.
- Align planning and supplier integration processes with SIOP targets, long‑term business strategies, and organizational standards.
- Ensure compliance with QMPP, the Supplier Logistics Directive, and contractual Terms & Conditions while administering governance for supplier onboarding, capacity management, and lifecycle oversight.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation, addressing findings, and driving corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery performance, strengthen supplier performance, reduce supply chain risk, and improve process efficiency.
- Implement and maintain best practices for planning accuracy, supplier performance, and operational stability.
- Champion the use of SAP, BW, dashboards, and analytical tools to increase data visibility, planning accuracy, and decision-making effectiveness.
- Serve as the primary liaison between supply chain leadership, plant operations, purchasing, logistics, and quality teams, representing planning and supplier integration functions in leadership reviews and strategic meetings.
Knowledge:
- Advanced understanding of supply chain management, planning processes, and material flow.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in building, guiding, and developing teams.
- Expertise in MRP/ERP systems, with SAP strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of supplier risk management, escalation processes, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, supplier integration, or related roles.
- Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing complex operational or supply chain projects with measurable outcome

- Ability to establish trust, credibility, and effective working relationships across internal and external departments.
- Ability to manage projects and assignments independently while ensuring timely and accurate completion.

- Ability to extract, interpret, and analyze data from system queries to support reporting and decision‑making.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience may be considered.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Huntington, IN is $97,500-146,300 per year. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education. Bendix is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations. Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, employees (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, vision, and basic life and disability insurance. Employees also will be able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 120 hours of vacation leave and 40 hours of Personal Paid Absence every year. Employees will also enjoy 12 paid holidays, and 1 floating holiday throughout the calendar year, subject to relevant terms outlined in the employee handbook. 6 weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use. Requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents and policies. Employees working on federal contracts covered by the Federal Paid Sick Leave requirements will be notified and will receive benefits consistent and compliant with the FPSL requirements. Hired applicant will be able to purchase company stock, subject to the relevant plan documents and annual bonuses based on achievement of certain metrics of up to 4% of annual salary.
