Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Howell, Michigan at Linacast, Inc.

Shipping and Receiving Clerks assist full time in processing incoming and outgoing material. They are responsible for all required paperwork on the customer and vendor end as well as shipment fulfillment. Shift hours are 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

· Driving a hi-lo to load and unload trucks. Completes hi-lo inspections.

· Inspect the shipping container to ensure the proper label and parts are identified on the bins.

· Report production on finished goods and fill out the necessary paperwork for shipping and accounting.

· Gather incoming MRO material and disposition it accordingly. Turn in all packing slips to Tool Crib Clerk

· Enter direct material packing slips into XA or TAI framework to show that items were received against purchase orders.

· Conduct direct material inventory and cycle counts

· Works with cross functional teams to continually improve, problem solve and reduce waste

· Other duties as assigned

Academic Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required

Required Skills & Experience

Valid Driver’s License

Knowledge in Microsoft Office

Citrix XA, TAI Framework, and IS400 “Green Screen” Auto Release

Knowledgeable in Lock out Tag Out procedures
