Job Description

Job Summary

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for developing and promoting the brand through the implementation of wholesale brand strategy, while maximizing sales growth and product assortment for all categories across designated accounts. Such designated accounts will primarily be major accounts.

Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting and growing both new and existing accounts and account relationships (will have a primary focus on Major accounts).
  • Provide recommendations to buyers on business strategy and growth.
  • Grow L’AGENCE’s top line sales and gross margin in a fast-paced environment.
  • Partner with VP of Sales and Sales Operations to develop growth and top line sales execution strategies.
  • Partner with planner on seasonal budgets and profitability targets and periodically check-in to ensure expectations are being met, inclusive of replenishment.
  • Project on sales for future inventory needs.
  • Work with retail teams to plan events, execute, and incentivize staff.
  • Analyze weekly sales reports for opportunities.
  • Work with customer service to ensure wholesale orders are being properly managed and shipped.
  • Strategize growth in new category launches.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 5-7 + years’ experience, with at least 4 years in a management of majors wholesale accounts. Experience with Nordstrom is a plus
  • Previous knowledge and experience working within the women’s contemporary apparel industry is required; premium denim experience is a plus.
  • Established relationships with top tier specialty customers and major WC accounts such as Nordstrom and Revolve.
  • A strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts with knowledge of industry competition.
  • Strong analytical skills; including a deep understanding of retail math, and advanced excel.
  • Extremely organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exercises sound judgement and maintains composure when connecting with clients.
  • Resourceful, hands-on, and communicative.
  • Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-Task and work well in a team setting

Physical Requirements:

  • This position is an office position that requires frequent use of a computer, mouse and keyboard.
  • Frequent sitting.
  • Occasional standing, bending, stooping.
