What You'll Do

1. Create and update AutoCAD drawings for Building Automation and Controls projects
2. Prepare control wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and system schematics
3. Revise drawings based on field markups and project changes
4. Assist with project documentation, submittals, and closeout packages
5. Maintain organized drawing files and document control standards
6. Collaborate with Project Managers, Controls Technicians, and Operations teams
7. Prepare as-built drawings at project completion
8. Participate in project coordination meetings as needed

What We're Looking For

1. Associate degree, technical certificate, or coursework in Drafting, Engineering Technology, AutoCAD, or a related field preferred
2. 0–3 years of AutoCAD drafting experience
3. Proficiency with AutoCAD
4. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

1. Exposure to HVAC, electrical systems, controls, or commercial construction
2. Interest in pursuing a career in Building Automation Systems (BAS) or Controls
