About the Role:
As a technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of Ford vehicles serviced at our dealership. Your expertise will directly impact customer satisfaction by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of automotive systems with precision and efficiency. You will work closely with service advisors and other team members to deliver timely and high-quality service, contributing to the dealership's reputation for excellence. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent technical certification.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Ford vehicles.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostic procedures.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to operate vehicles safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ford-specific training or certification.
- Experience with advanced diagnostic equipment and software.
- Familiarity with hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on Ford vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, electrical systems, and HVAC.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections to ensure vehicle safety and longevity.
- Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electronic issues accurately.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors to provide detailed information on vehicle conditions and repair recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with dealership and industry standards.
