Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring an Oncology Clinical Scribe to join our Oncology Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

What Your Day Looks Like: providing dedicated documentation and workflow support to oncology providers in a fast-paced clinical environment. The scribe works alongside physicians and advanced practice providers to accurately document patient encounters, treatment plans, laboratory and diagnostic information, medications, and follow-up recommendations within the electronic medical record (EMR).
As an Oncology Clinic Scribe, you will be:
- Documenting patient history, symptoms, assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations under provider direction.
- Accurately capture laboratory, pathology, imaging, and diagnostic information relevant to the patient’s oncology care.
- Communicating effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, schedulers, and other members of the oncology team.
- Identifying incomplete or missing documentation and bringing it to the provider’s attention for timely completion.
- Assisting with care coordination documentation and other non-clinical workflow activities as assigned.
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy while working efficiently in a high-volume oncology environment.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma (preferred).
Experience: working in an oncology, hematology, specialty clinic, or hospital environment.
Skills: Work Ethic, Attention to Detail, Teamwork, Adaptability and with great initiative while maintaining confidentiality.
Licensure/Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR (we assist with obtaining this) within 6 months of employment.
Physical Requirements: This position is primarily performed in an outpatient oncology clinical environment. The employee must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple priorities, and remain attentive to detail while supporting multiple patient encounters.
