Pike School - Morning Student Support (Auxiliary Associate - Part-Time)

Start Date: 10 Month Position, Part-Time ( 18.75 weekly hours) Late-August through Mid-June
Monday - Friday (18.75 Hours Weekly)
Hours: 7:30 am - 11:15 am
Hourly Rate: $24.50 (No Benefits)
Reporting to: Director of Auxiliary Programs
Description: This position will work with a team of staff and faculty to support the active supervision of
students in our Before Care, Kindergarten Class Time, Kindergarten and 1st grade outdoor recess.
This person will interface with students in grades PK to 8 during Before Care (7:30 am - 8:00 am).
The ideal candidate for this position must be dependable, have a positive attitude, behavior
management experience, team player, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work within a
diverse community. Previous experience working with children in a school or agency setting is
preferred.
Essential Duties:
● Ability to be on their feet and actively supervise students for outdoor recess.
● Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality with Pike Community information.
● Desire to work with a team invested in growth and quality program delivery.
● Effective communication with children and adults.
● Maintain a positive attitude supporting a healthy work environment.
