Position Description:

This role is responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing the technology solutions that drive Milestone's operational processes. This role partners with cross-functional teams to implement system integrations, workflow automation, and technical enhancements that improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability. With an emphasis on technical problem solving and continuous improvement, this role ensures business systems effectively support operational success.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements and deliver technology solutions that support business objectives.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise applications, workflows, and business systems that improve operational efficiency.
  • Design, develop, and support system integrations, data mapping, and workflow automation across internal and third-party platforms.
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce, including Marketing Cloud workflows, email and SMS campaigns, and related automation processes.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation processes to support business operations and reporting.
  • Analyze existing workflows and technology solutions to identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased operational efficiency.
  • Support the implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of new systems, enhancements, and technology initiatives.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement solutions to maintain system reliability and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Database Administration, Operations, and external vendors to implement and support technology solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and standard operating procedures to support system administration and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage and prioritize Technical Operations requests, system enhancements, and technology initiatives while ensuring timely communication and resolution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing scalable technology solutions that support organizational growth.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 2–4+ years of experience in technical operations, systems administration, business systems, or a related technology role.
  • Experience working with SQL, relational databases, data mapping, and system integrations.
  • Experience configuring and supporting enterprise applications, including Salesforce; Marketing Cloud experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools, APIs, ETL processes, and cloud-based technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Power Automate) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and identify process improvements.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and a commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality solutions.
