Job Summary:
The Program Director at Echoing Hills is responsible for the comprehensive management of residential activities and programming to meet the physical, social, educational, and spiritual needs of residents. This role involves leadership in planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and managing all aspects of the program, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and aligning with the organization's mission and values.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, staffing, and goals of the Programming Department.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate active treatment plans and activities for residents.
- Supervise and develop QIDPs, Activity Staff, and DSPs.
- Assist individuals served with various social service tasks and assist with personal care as necessary.
- Ensure compliance and participate in regulatory surveys.
- Produce and maintain reports and documentation for various purposes.
- Foster relationships with community agencies, families, and guardians.
- Create a positive environment empowering residents to achieve their goals.
- Serve on committees, participate in various trainings, and perform other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in the Developmental Disability field or related field with managerial experience.
- CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulations regarding IDD individuals, ICF facilities, and HCBS Waiver services.
- Ability to create and maintain a budget and handle stress and behavior management.
- General knowledge of safety, HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and resident human rights.
- Valid driver’s license, insurable driver's record, and reliable transportation.
- Demonstrated Christian background and alignment with the ministry's mission.
