Senior System Analyst - Supply Chain

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior System Analyst – Supply Chain in Canada.

This role sits at the core of complex warehouse and supply chain technology implementations, supporting end-to-end deployment of advanced WMS/WLM solutions.
You will work closely with clients and internal project teams to analyze requirements, configure systems, and ensure successful delivery of warehouse optimization solutions.
The position blends functional and technical expertise, requiring strong analytical thinking and hands-on involvement across the implementation lifecycle.
You will contribute to solution design, testing, deployment, and client enablement while ensuring systems align with business and operational goals.
The environment is highly collaborative and client-facing, with opportunities to work on innovative supply chain technologies and real-time data-driven platforms.

Accountabilities:
  • Support end-to-end implementation activities for supply chain and warehouse management solutions, including analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Provide product expertise and consulting support to client teams, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and system adoption.
  • Assist in configuring WMS/WLM solutions, including device setup (RF scanners, printers, and related hardware) to meet client requirements.
  • Develop and execute test plans, validate results, and support user acceptance testing to ensure system quality and readiness.
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to manage expectations, resolve issues, and ensure successful delivery of implementation milestones.
  • Identify additional implementation opportunities and contribute insights to project leads for potential enhancements or expansions.
  • Track project activities and maintain accurate documentation in time-tracking and project management tools (e.g., JIRA/RUNN).
  • Provide ongoing updates, status reports, and technical/functional guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in system analysis, software implementation, or supply chain technology environments.
  • Strong expertise in supply chain systems such as WMS, WLM, or TMS, both from a functional and technical perspective.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, JavaScript, and database technologies (SQL Server and/or Oracle).
  • Programming knowledge in languages such as C#, Java, C/C++, and familiarity with scripting or web technologies (XML/HTML, Python, etc.).
  • Experience working in Windows and UNIX environments, with exposure to enterprise implementation tools and workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in project teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with client-facing experience and the ability to manage expectations in dynamic environments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as part of project delivery requirements.
