Full-time Positions Available
Shifts Available:

  • Days: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Evenings: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

Schedules May Include:

  • Sunday – Thursday
  • Monday – Friday
  • Tuesday – Saturday

Flex scheduling may be assigned at times to meet client needs.

SUMMARY

Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI) is actively recruiting for experienced Facilities Maintenance Technicians in a hospital environment. We are currently hiring multiple Level III and Level IV technicians with experience in HVAC/Refrigeration, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical Systems, and General Facilities Maintenance.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will work with a variety of building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-demand repairs to ensure hospital systems meet safety codes and operational standards. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Perform preventive and routine maintenance throughout the facility
  • Work with HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Respond to maintenance requests and facility emergencies
  • Troubleshoot building systems and equipment issues
  • Replace lighting, ceiling tiles, and perform general repairs
  • Complete minor plumbing and electrical repairs
  • Assist with painting, wall/floor repairs, and facility upkeep
  • Help ensure systems meet safety and operational standards
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Transport equipment and supplies as needed
  • Participate in possible on-call rotation as assigned

Requirements

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable using computers and maintenance/work order systems
  • Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, mechanical systems, or facilities maintenance
  • Hospital maintenance experience preferred
  • Technical school, military facilities experience, or trade certifications are a plus

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license or government-issued ID
  • Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
  • Must complete all required health screenings and vaccinations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces
  • Ability to work in varying indoor/outdoor temperatures and conditions
  • Ability to safely work around mechanical and electrical systems
  • Noise level in work environment is usually moderate
