Overview:

Cripe is seeking a motivated individual with a background in accounting to serve as an Accounts Receivable Coordinator. This position reports to the Finance Operations Manager and will work closely with multiple Project Managers to support and emphasize the financial health of our projects and company. The Accounts Receivable Coordinator position requires a hands-on team player that takes charge in ensuring we are invoicing with accuracy, collecting our billables, and maintaining a positive relationship with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable:

  • Prepare and Issue Client Invoicing in Ajera
  • Generate and send customer invoices, statements, and payment reminders.
  • Issue Lein Waivers and AIA documents
  • Prepare and submit all supporting client invoice documents including AIA forms, schedule of values, various exhibits, partial and final liens.

Collections:

  • Draft and distribute Client Statements
  • Monitor AR aging and initiate collections for past due accounts
  • Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify past-due accounts and prioritize collection efforts.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to resolve billing disputes
  • Provide updated reports weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly regarding improvements in collections or unresolved issues to escalate to upper management.

General:

  • Handle and complete client requests including vendor forms, ACH authorizations, W-9's and certificates of insurances.
  • Update ‘Internal Estimate’ Budgets monthly for sales team
  • Maintain accurate data on all field customers by performing client contract status audits
  • Special accounting projects and tasks, as needed
  • Identify best practices within the role and strive to improve processes and efficiencies
  • Crosstrain as backup for the Project Accounting Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree with finance focus preferred
  • Entry level position, minimum of 2 years accounting/finance experience in a similar role required
  • Previous accounting experience in the engineering/construction or services industry a plus.
  • Strong general computer operations skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfortable adapting to new software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and follow-up abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Outstanding ability to professionally execute multiple projects and assignments without error, but with high attention to detail
  • Self-starter with ability to work both independently and in team settings
  • Revu Bluebeam software experience is a plus
  • Experience with Ajera software is a plus

Compensation: Compensation commensurate with experience.
