Per Diem NNP Role by the Ocean – Neonatology Opportunity in Panama City, FL
Responsibilities
Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking an experienced, certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our wellestablished neonatology team at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in beautiful Panama City, Florida—a coastal community known for its turquoise waters, relaxed lifestyle, and familyfriendly environment.
- Level III NICU (28 beds) with an average daily census of 19 and ~2,700 deliveries per year.
- In-house NNP model providing 24/7 coverage with strong physician support.
- 24 hour in house shifts
- Shared responsibilities including rounding, acute NICU care, delivery attendance, and procedures based on experience.
- Collaborative, team-oriented environment with neonatologists who value NNP autonomy and clinical judgment.
- Full subspecialty support plus a dedicated neonatal transport team.
- A 282-bed acute care hospital serving as the region’s primary pediatric provider.
- Home to the only Level III NICU, pediatric ER, PICU, and delivery hospital within a 50mile radius.
- Recognized for excellence in patient safety and specialized care.
Qualifications
- Current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum of a master’s degree
- Active FL license required
