About This Position
ATS Welding is a rapidly expanding full-service industrial construction and welding company dedicated to safety and quality. We are involved in critical energy infrastructure projects and are currently seeking experienced CDL Driver to operate our Hydrovac truck and support our crews. If you're hardworking, safety-focused, and ready to play a key role in delivering quality infrastructure projects, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive and operate Hydrovac truck.
• Drive to assigned job sites to excavate, load, dig, break rocks or debris, dirt, or other materials to locate underground utilities, potholing, trenching, etc.
• Read and follow location and road maps to reach job sites efficiently.
• Perform pre-inspections of the truck to ensure it meets safety standards.
• Maintain basic vehicle upkeep and ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and processes.
• Complete necessary paperwork and verify accuracy for spoils disposal.
• Obtain and manage necessary permits when required.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and ICC rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving in a CDL role.
• Tanker endorsement.
• Knowledge of DOT and ICC regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Some travel with Per Diem may be required.
Licenses and Certifications:
• CDL with tanker endorsement required.
