Position Summary:

The Production Operator II - Coating plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and monitoring coating equipment to ensure high-quality product output. This position is responsible for applying coatings to materials or products according to precise specifications, maintaining equipment functionality, and adhering to safety and quality standards. The operator will collaborate closely with team members to meet production targets while minimizing waste and downtime. Attention to detail and consistency are essential to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to the efficiency and success of the production line within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods and wearing personal protective equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role, preferably in coating or related processes.
• Familiarity with industrial coating materials and equipment.
• Basic understanding of quality control principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work orders.
• Experience with computerized production tracking systems.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor coating machinery to apply coatings accurately and efficiently according to production schedules.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• Document production data, including quantities produced, materials used, and any deviations or issues encountered.
• Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams to address any product or equipment concerns promptly.
