Surgery Technician at Central Peninsula Hospital – Soldotna, Alaska

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs technical skills and provides assistance to surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses and other professionals in the operating room and endoscopy suites.

REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED; One year of healthcare experience required. Knowledge of Surgical Instruments and Procedures; Knowledge of Anatomy/Physiology; Able to multi-task; Able to work independently and with others.

PREFERRED: One year Clinical/ Hospital operating room experience and/or graduate of surgery technology program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). Robotic experience preferred.
