Position: Outreach Coordinator - Clinic

Location: East Chicago, In

Job Summary:

The outreach coordinator is responsible for supporting community events and relief efforts to assist our patients with their needs, providing resources, and facilitating lifestyle programs. This position will be responsible to lead the analysis, planning, implementation, control and evaluation of event efforts; build strategic relationships within the communities we serve; conduct a variety of outreach activities and chair the Outreach Committee.

Education/ Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma (or GED equivalent) required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products, computers, office equipment
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and organization skills
• Project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Outgoing and engaging personality with confident to interact face to face with individual or organization.
• Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills, and communication abilities are necessary to interact with patients, physicians, and community members.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Excellent time management skills
• Previous experience as an outreach coordinator preferred
• Ability to drive outreach vehicle and clean driving record requirement.
• Previous experience as an outreach coordinator or marketing experience in FQHC setting preferred
• Hours may include evenings and weekends.
