We’re currently hiring a Full-Time Patient Coordinator to join our front office team!

About the Role:

As a Patient Coordinator, you’ll be the welcoming face of our practice, ensuring a smooth check-in process for our patients and their families. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, friendly, and thrives in a family-centered, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Greet patients and families warmly and check them in efficiently.
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage daily schedule flow.
  • Confirm appointments.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and balances when needed.
  • Present treatment plans and explain financial arrangements when needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix.
  • Communicate clearly with clinical team to ensure smooth patient transitions.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and handle concerns professionally.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy waiting room and patient restroom.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in the dental field - preferred! Will train the right candidate.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Must be comfortable discussing financial options and insurance coverage
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Previous experience in a front office or customer service role (dental/medical office experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with computer systems and scheduling software (experience with dental software is a plus).
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for providing excellent patient care.
  • Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
