Pay: $13.85–$15.12/hour (Union Position)
Schedule: Must be available for some evenings, weekends, and holidays
Seasonal Role:

• Fall: September 2026 through October 2026
• Winter: December 2026 through March 2027

Status: Union, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Spirit Mountain is hiring Ski Lift Attendants for the 2026-2027 season. This union position supports mountain operations during both the fall preparation season and the winter ski season. Team members assist with fall mountain setup and preparations before transitioning into winter operations, where they play a key role in providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for skiers, snowboarders, and other winter guests.

Ski Lift Attendants are responsible for assisting guests at lift loading and unloading areas, monitoring lift lines, maintaining safe work areas, and ensuring guests have an exceptional experience on the mountain. This is a hands-on, team-oriented position ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and delivering excellent customer service.

• Assist with mountain and lift-area preparations for the upcoming winter season
• Support lift operations and guest services as assigned
• Provide friendly, helpful service and answer guest questions
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas
• Assist with equipment setup, inspections, and general operational tasks
• Perform light maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of facilities and outdoor areas
• Follow and communicate safety procedures to guests and team members
• Support other departments when needed to ensure smooth daily operations
• Work collaboratively with staff across the mountain to prepare for seasonal operations
• Complete additional duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Must be comfortable repeating safety instructions to large groups
• Able to troubleshoot problems and make sound decisions under pressure
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
• Willing to jump in where needed — flexible and team-focused
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Must be reliable, punctual, and uphold Spirit Mountain’s core values
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential
