Position Summary

The Medical Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in creating a positive patient experience by providing exceptional administrative and clerical support to physicians, patients, and the clinical team. This position ensures the efficient day-to-day operation of the practice while delivering professional, compassionate customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional front-office support by greeting patients and visitors, answering and directing phone calls, and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Coordinate daily administrative operations, including scheduling appointments, maintaining provider calendars, and supporting meetings and office workflows.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure efficient practice operations while maintaining accurate records and assisting with general administrative functions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical office setting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.
