Position Summary

Swingtech Consulting is seeking a Federal Executive Secretariat Specialist to support senior leadership within a federal environment. The selected candidate will coordinate the preparation, review, clearance, routing, and tracking of official correspondence, executive action items, briefing materials, and other leadership-level documents.

The ideal candidate will have strong editorial skills, knowledge of formal federal document-clearance processes, and experience supporting the timely flow of information across senior leadership offices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide staff and administrative support to senior federal leadership.
  • Prepare, review, edit, format, route, and track official correspondence and briefing materials.
  • Support the timely review and clearance of executive-level documents.
  • Track leadership assignments, action items, deadlines, and responses.
  • Facilitate the timely flow of information among leadership, program offices, and other stakeholders.
  • Review documents for grammar, clarity, accuracy, organization, consistency, and proper formatting.
  • Maintain electronic documents, records, taskers, and correspondence trackers.
  • Prepare reports, memoranda, presentations, and other leadership materials
  • Use Microsoft applications and SharePoint to manage documents, workflows, and information.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with senior leaders and program stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must satisfy the requirements for the specific Staff Assistant level proposed:

Staff Assistant

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
